I'm Fernando Szamszoryk, born in São Paulo, Brazil, in 1987, and currently living in Lisbon, Portugal.
Better known as Fétosz, I started doing graffiti in 2003. My works have spread across São Paulo, and over the years, my artistic journey has expanded internationally. I graduated in Fine Arts from Panamericana School of Art and Design, in São Paulo, 12 years ago. Recently, I had the opportunity to showcase my work in renowned group exhibitions, including at the Royal Watercolour Society in London, the Cultural Foundation of Sparkasse Karlsruhe in Germany, and the Maritime Museum in Lisbon, for the Humanitatis Europae exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
Since I began practicing mural art, I have sought to portray distinct characters, always aiming to imprint my unique style, influenced by cartoons and classical works from different eras. My work reflects ideas from daily life and explores reflections on existence. Transpersonal psychology and the power of human consciousness are also key influences. My art remains deeply connected to the context in which I work, where cultural elements, beliefs, and human relationships are transformed through my personal narratives, whether in studio paintings or street murals. My artistic journey is constantly evolving, with my characters moving beyond the streets. My style is defined by clean, detailed lines that enrich my creations.
